Gameplay – 5/5
No Time to Explain gameplay is based on a wide range of mechanics created around the laser gun. At the beginning of the game, the main character meets himself from the future. Unfortunately, a giant crab claw suddenly grabs the character, so you have to pick up his gun and try to save him from death. During the game, you have to take control of multiple incarnations of the protagonist and use their individual tricks to get through.
The giant claw crawls away from you through multiple levels that require using various shooting techniques to go forward. For the vast majority of the time, you have to wear the laser as a jetpack to fly. The way of the original protagonist is very awkward as he has to travel through time and various versions of reality. Soon, you figure out that there are many versions of the hero and they all meet to decide how to defeat the evil version of themselves. The solution is very unobvious but appears to be powerful, so… Sorry, this No Time to Explain review cannot include spoilers!
